Alberto Ludeña | With over 15 years of experience in broadcast, film, and digital media, I am a seasoned Production Manager and Post-Producer. My career has evolved from designer to network art director, visual effects artist to on-set VFX supervisor, and now post-production producer—giving me a comprehensive understanding of the entire production pipeline.
My work is backed by formal training from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Harvard Business School’s Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS) program—blending creative production insight with strategic, business-focused execution.
As the industry evolves, I’ve expanded beyond traditional production to author “The International Film Commissions Guide”—a resource designed to help students and emerging professionals explore new international film hubs in response to the offshoring of U.S. productions.
I also create cinematic digital campaigns for brands and institutions, helping to sustain NYC’s creative momentum during the current production slowdown. Beyond production, I’m passionate about design, photography, and mentoring the next generation of media professionals.

It provides actionable insights on navigating international production in developing regions, accessing production incentives, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as virtual production, cloud-based workflows, and visual effects. The guide highlights the crucial role of local film commissions in fostering innovation, supporting local talent, and driving business growth in today’s dynamic film industry. With a foreword by Larry Sheffield, VP of Business & Legal Affairs at Paramount Global and Lecturer in Law at USC Gould School of Law, this guide offers in-depth insights into emerging film markets across Spain, Italy, and parts of Asia.
VFX REEL – I have extensive experience compositing visual effects shots for feature films, series, and commercials across various genres. My work spans dramas, space adventures, action-packed scenes, and animated projects.
BARBIE — Oversaw digital I/O management across five vendors, ensuring all shots were prepared for daily VFX editorial reviews. Managed the in-house compositing team and coordinated temporary VFX production during the post-visualization stage.
AI tests with Runway and Sono — Simulated commercial projects to evaluate the software’s capability for generating highly dynamic, AI-driven movements and visuals.
Walking Dead: DEAD CITY — Coordinated all stages of prep and production, managing location LiDAR scanning, vendors, wranglers, and digital assets.
Virtual Production Program – Unreal Engine (VES) — Selected for an exclusive VES course on Unreal Engine virtual production, culminating in a short animated film. Expanded my skills in real-time 3D storytelling despite limited prior 3D experience.
HBOMax | RAP SH!T — Collaborated daily with Director, DP, and crew to craft shots, provide cost-effective solutions, and manage cleanup. Worked across diverse Miami locations, from luxury estates to street closures, handling green/blue screen setups, screen burnouts, and beauty prep (scars, tattoos, injuries, skin retouching).
